Novellus Vector Clean Quarterly XPS Coupon Testing

The aluminum coupon surface was covered with a thin Al2O3 layer. Also found
on the coupon surface were low to trace levels of AlF3, Al oxyfluoride
and/or organic fluorocarbon, SiO2, oxidized Fe species, sulfate, phosphate,
inorganic chloride, Na, Mg, Ca and Cu. The levels of C, Fe, Cl, Na, Ca, Si
and S were within the Novellus Cleaning Specifications. However, the levels
of F were higher than the specification of <2. While F is higher, it is in a
stable form, even at 1x10E-8 torr, and non-leachable.

April, 2011
Clean Sciences, Inc began internal testing and monitoring of it's DI Water System.

Weekly tests are taken at point of use for:

Conductivity
Resistivity
Total Dissovled Solids
Free Chlorine

At source, CSI maintains their DI System between 16 - 18.5 mega ohm. Daily average at source is 18.2. At point of use, the lack of ions means that deionized water should have a pH of 7. However, when deionized water comes into contact with atmospheric carbon dioxide, its absorption of the gas produces carbonic acid, which can reduce the water's pH to as little as 5.5. For this reason, the pH reading of deionized water is usually below 7. Our tests average between 5 and 7.

PROCESS LINES
Clean Sciences, Inc uses Harvel's LXT process piping. Harvel LXT® piping is produced from an innovative PVC compound that has been specifically formulated to reduce leachable contamination when exposed to ultra-pure water environments. Minor ingredients necessary for processing have been scrupulously selected to address their potential for contamination, and are then carefully blended in precise ratios. This results in a much cleaner material than conventional PVC compounds, and compares favorably to alternate materials typically used for UPW piping applications. This has been validated with extensive static and dynamic leach studies during exposure to 18.2 megohm ultra-pure water conducted by a reputable third party.

NEW PICK UP & DELIVERY POLICY

We are all feeling the effects of raising gas prices. These increases have forced all of us in business to re-evaluate our current cost models and restructure how we remain profitable and operational. Clean Sciences, Inc. takes great pride in our quick turnaround time and Customer Service. Our goal is to provide our customers with both Quality Cleaning and Fast Response time at competitive prices. We don't charge our Customers with Minimum Lot Charges and Expediting fees for Same-Day delivery. Many of our competitors do not offer this level of service.

But with the increasing cost of fuel we need to re-look at our Pick up & Delivery Services. We are seeing more and more of our suppliers and competitors begin the practice of charging delivery and/or fuel surcharges. We do not intend to do this with our customers. But we will need to revise our practices and requirements in regards to our Transportation Services.

Beginning June 1, 2008, we can no longer pick up or deliver orders that fall below $50. We appreciate and value your business but we also need to remain viable so that we can be here to service you today and in the future. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

USD Awards Certificate of Merit

Clean Sciences, Inc was presented with Union Sanitary District's Certificate of Merit for 100% compliance with its pretreatment regulations in a ceremony held on May 19, 2008. This marks the second year in a row that Clean Sciences has been recognized.

The District permits, inspects and monitors certain industries, which discharge to its system for compliance with Federal, State and Local environmental regulations.

In addition to demonstrating consistent compliance, industries receiving certificates have implemented pollution prevention and/or recycling measures, maintained an ongoing cooperative relationship with USD, improved operations to reduce discharges to the environment, and demonstrated awareness and understanding of environmental issues and requirements. Henrie adds, ?e appreciate their proactive efforts to protect the plant from toxic pollutants and ensure the water quality of San Francisco Bay.ˇ
